Things of God are Foolish without the Spirit

Do you ever wonder at the way some people can experience great blessings and never see the Giver? Or how about those who have the truth of the Bible spelled out for them, but just don't "get it"? 1 Corinthians 2:10-16 tells us that without the Holy Spirit, anything to do with God seems foolish.

I am so thankful to have the Holy Spirit in me allowing me to see things from God's perspective. How about you?

Can you think of an event in your life where having the mind of Christ (v.16) has made all the difference in your attitude? Thank God for the presence of His Holy Spirit revealing God's thoughts to you.

BibleStoreBrowser Blogger: a Supplement to BibleStoreBrowser.com

This blog is a supplement to BibleStoreBrowser.com, a site devoted to encouraging Christian living through Bible study and product recommendations. If you've seen me on Xanga, yes, this is essentially the same blog, mirrored to reach more people. I don't post every day, but I do try to post a couple times a week as topics come up.

Something important for you to know: This isn't a "me" site. I don't talk about my day or complain about the weather. Everything I talk about has to do with the Christian life, as revealed to us in the Bible. Events and feelings come and go, but the Word of the Lord is lasting. Join me as we see where God takes us through studying His Word!
